An inquiry by UCI Health as to who the building owner used for Space Planning services lead to an interview with SRB Design, Inc. and were ultimately retained by UCI Health in September 2019. During construction the building was acquired by another SRB Design, Inc. client of 15 years Healthcare Realty Trust. Scope of services for UCI Health were the following for this ~20,000 square foot Outpatient Facility: Space Planning including multiple revisions on-the-fly due to scope of services and in-house project management by the UCI Health team. Design Development including multiple presentations of color schemes, lighting design and pre-construction visualization with renderings of key spaces. Construction Documents including coordination of consulting Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Structural Engineering services. Construction coordination with General Contractor and UCI Health and Building Owners during the 6 month Construction cycle during Covide 19. Note that there was not one Covid-19 case among the General Contractor (CDG Builders, Irvine, California) or any of their sub-contractors over the duration of the construction which began in earnest January 2021. Located in the heart of South Orange County, 23961 Calle de la Magdalena, Suite 200, Laguna Hills, California. This facility is within a few hundred yards from the I-5 freeway and adjacent to Saddleback Memorial Hospital. Construction Administration with General Contractor (Con-Am Building Co. - San Clemente, CA), UCI Health and Welltower during 8 months of Demolition and Construction. Located in the central coastal area Orange County, 1640 Newport Blvd., Suite 100, Costa Mesa, California. This facility is located not far from Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and is in the stylish Pacific Medical Plaza .
